Stainless Steel Work Table for Laboratory Use

The LANDRO stainless steel work table is configured for laboratories, testing rooms and controlled production areas that need a durable, cleanable work surface. Available layouts can include open frames, enclosed cabinets, drawers, sinks and rear backsplashes according to the approved room and equipment plan.

SUS304 stainless steel is commonly selected for general laboratory cleaning and corrosion resistance. SUS316 may be considered where the process involves chlorides or more demanding exposure conditions. Grade selection must be based on the chemicals, cleaning agents, temperature and contact time used in the facility.

Work Surface, Joints and Cleaning Access

Worktops can be fabricated with welded joints, turned-down edges and optional coved backsplashes to simplify routine cleaning. Surface finish, corner details, sink openings and drainage should be confirmed before production. A smooth finish can support cleaning, but sanitation results still depend on the facility procedure and validation.

Reinforcement beneath the worktop is designed around the equipment footprint and expected load. Precision balances, centrifuges and vibration-sensitive instruments may require separate isolation or a dedicated support strategy; the table alone should not be assumed to eliminate vibration.

Configure the Table for the Actual Process

Before ordering, confirm work height, table dimensions, equipment weight, service points, storage needs and cleaning access. Open-frame tables can improve access below the worktop, while enclosed cabinets provide organized storage. Sinks, backsplashes and service panels should be coordinated with the room utilities.

Should I choose SUS304 or SUS316?

SUS304 suits many general laboratory applications. SUS316 may be considered for chloride exposure or more demanding conditions, subject to the chemical and cleaning process.

Can the table include a sink or backsplash?

Yes. Sink openings, drainage, turned edges and coved backsplashes can be coordinated in the approved fabrication drawing.

Is stainless steel suitable for every chemical?

No. Compatibility depends on grade, chemical, concentration, temperature and exposure time. The facility reagent and cleaning list must be reviewed.
